Alamo Area Tattoo Removal Program, Inc.
(a non-profit organization)
Our Mission is to provide the community a medically acceptable option of free or low cost tattoo removal that allows the participant to obtain employment, enter the military
or enjoy life free from prejudice or discrimination.
Program dates are generally the first Saturday of every month. Holidays may interfere with our schedule, so please make sure to make an appointment with the call center to begin your treatments.
The process we use is not laser. Information will be given to you at the program to help you make the decision whether to proceed. Normally, it will take several treatments for the tattoo to resolve. In order to make the service as low cost as possible a $50 donation is asked for all participants 22 years and older, per treatment session. Under the age of 22 the removal sessions are free.
You must bring a parent or guardian if under the age of 18 and everyone must bring picture identification.
Southwest General Hospital generously supports this program as an outreach to the community.
These donations and the support of Southwest General Hospital make our mission possible and pays for equipment and supplies. All volunteers are non-paid.
