Our 10-bed medical intensive care unit and 8-bed surgical intensive care unit provide highly skilled nursing for critically ill patients. The medical intensive care unit is designed for medically complex patients and the surgical intensive care unit is specifically for post-operative patients.

Using advanced patient monitoring technology and sophisticated medical equipment, we provide continuous, comprehensive care for patient with serious conditions, including those recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery, stroke, severe accidents or complex illnesses.

Meeting each patient’s unique needs, we follow a multi-disciplinary approach that involves doctors, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, physical and respiratory therapists and social services. Our team is dedicated to providing expert healthcare and to treating patients with the compassion and respect they deserve.

Special monitoring equipment keeps our nurses constantly informed about each patient’s vital signs and alerts the staff to any changes in a patient’s condition.

We use electronic medical records, which allows authorized members of the patient’s care team to have instant access at all times to the most up-to-date patient information. Physicians can view this information, via secure Internet access, from any computer in the hospital, from their offices or even from home.

A large nurse workstation, located right outside patient rooms, enables nursing staff to quickly respond to emergencies or any other patient need.
