Southwest General Hospital makes special delivery on 11/11/11 at 11:11 a.m.
Southwest General Hospital’s The BirthPlace is proud to announce the arrival of healthy little baby girl, Lorena Rodriguez, who was born on 11/11/11 at 11:11 a.m.
Baby Lorena was born to her proud parents at 11:11 a.m. to mother Brenda Espinosa & father Luciano Rodriguez IV. Both are elated about the arrival of their baby girl. Born 18” long and 5 lbs, 11 ounces, baby Lorena and mother are doing well.
“We couldn’t be happier,” said Espinosa. “She is our special little one. And the fact that she/he is born on a special day, makes her arrival all the more special.”
When asked what hopes mom has for her little one she said, “I hope she accomplishes everything she wants to in her life,” said Espinosa. “That’s my wish for her.” As for dad, “They grow so fast,” adds Rodriguez. “I want her to enjoy being a kid.”
“We are thrilled to bring baby Lorena into the world on such a special day,” said Greg Padilla, CEO for Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio. “We wish her all the best for a fulfilled future.”
In addition to award-winning care offered by The Birthplace medical staff, delivering mothers of The BirthPlace are provided with a free steak dinner and infant car seats if one is not already owned by the family. “We care tremendously for all of our little ones,” said Elizabeth Luna, director of Marketing at Southwest General Hospital. “This ensures our babies travel safely when they leave our facility,” adds Luna.
